PERSPECTIVE

The city is littered with convenience,

awash with ease and comfort bursting at the seams with weakness and in this decadent landscape, you’ll be offered everything from fast food, escalators, remote controls, to segways and all things that remove movement and toil, for society’s aim is to breed weakness and dependence.

It would take a man of immense discipline to not succumb to it’s sickness.

Consumerism will turn your possessions into a prison..  

A warrior would do well to remember he possesses nothing.. 

Not even his flesh, he is no more than a tenant in a house of animated dust...

MCP METHOD

STRENGTH | CONDITIONING | MINDSET

STRENGTH

Using strongman and strength principles, we build physical strength through the primal movements of the human body: push, pull, carry, throw and hold. We work to build a physically strong body so we can handle the rigours that life throws at us! 


CONDITIONING

We build conditioning through the same primal theories: run, walk, hike, climb, jump and swim. In a society that champions going to the gym to walk on the treadmill, we must refer back to our primal ways and use the outdoors as a place to sharpen our swords just as much as we use the CV kit in the gym. 


MINDSET

Mental strength is the key component of this system - if we can master the mind, we can master the body. 

The gym is one of many tools to help develop a strong mind, but we will also use the old school methods of cold water and heat emersion, study and meditation to fully master the mind and in turn, develop the body. 

We must learn to disconnect from technology and connect spiritually to our surroundings, embracing the elements. Reconnecting with nature, we can free our minds from the prison of social media, be present, and restore our sense of adventure.
